Indian JSPS Alumni Association (IJAA) organizes Science and Technology seminars to serve as the platform for scientists from India and Japan to come together and discuss the cutting-edge research happening in both countries as well as in the world. IJAA conducts these seminars every year in India with the sponsorship of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Japan (JSPS). Researchers from all scientific fields, backgrounds, and employment sectors—from students to top scientists, including Nobel Laureates as well as bureaucrats—converge at these events to exchange technical information, engage in broader impact programming, network with friends and colleagues and contribute to the advancement of science and technology. In addition, scientific poster exhibits, Japanese University booths, and Science and Technology company booths add to the interactive meeting experience, present innovative information to the scientific community, and in turn, allow to gather information to develop collaboration and partnership between Indian and Japanese institutions as well as research funding and fellowship opportunities.
